  • An Exclusive Commercial Licence gives the buyer the sole right to use the pattern design, ensuring that no one else can utilise the design during the licence period.

A Non-Exclusive Commercial Licence gives the buyer the right to use the pattern design for the duration of the licence period, however the design may also be licensed to others for similar purposes.

  • The Extended Commercial Licence offers broader usage rights than the standard Commercial Licence, including:

Create and sell unlimited end products
Lifetime usage with no recurring fees
    Worldwide distribution rights

    The standard Commercial Licence includes:

  • The artwork will be delivered as high-resolution 300 DPI Photoshop (.PSD) files. All designs are seamless repeats and ready for immediate use. Each file includes a detailed description outlining the repeat size, layout, and whether the design contains editable layers—such as individual motifs on separate layers.

  • I’m happy to work with you to meet any specific setup requirements from your manufacturer or printer wherever possible. Please note, however, that some files may have limitations based on how they were created. If you have any concerns or specific requests, feel free to get in touch before making a purchase.

  • If you would like to customise a design—such as colour changes, motif adjustments or layout edits and are unable to do these inhouse, I can help!

Please feel free to contact me for a quote before proceeding.

  • The design process is thorough, beginning with trend research and progressing through motif creation and colour development. While I often hand-paint with watercolours, I sometimes incorporate other mediums—such as drawing, collage, or photography—depending on the direction of the print. Once the motifs are created, they are scanned at high resolution and digitally edited before being developed into a seamless repeating pattern.

  • I’m always delighted when a client approaches me with an idea. Together, we’ll refine your initial concept and develop a clear direction before moving into the design stage.

All bespoke patterns are quoted before work begins, and you’ll receive two rounds of edits before the final design is delivered. Each custom design comes with an easy-to-understand licence agreement, so you can be confident that the legal details are covered.

  • Yes, I love to create mood boards, these can be tailored to your specific requirements and are complete with colour direction.

  • There are several ways to expand a collection from a single design—including motif isolation and simplification, as well as creating new coordinating patterns that complement the main design. If this approach resonates with you, please don’t hesitate to reach out!

  • With years of industry experience, I create detailed and well-organised Illustrator files of garment and product sketches, which can be used to visualise and display repeat patterns to scale.

  • Each design in the Pattern Library includes a product mock-up to help you envision how the design might look once produced. If you have a specific garment or product in mind, please get in touch, and I will do my best to provide a similar visual representation.
